One of my 2800G's seems to have died... partly. Cannot get any ADSL syncronisation whatsoever. Tried two ADSL lines so far, different exchanges, correct credentials & ADSL settings, it just won't syncronise, web gui shows it just loops through training & handshake, then drops to idle.

Syslog confirms this:
ADSL_Status:[Mode=-----States=TRAINING UpSpeed=0 DownSpeed=0 SNR=0.0 Atten=0.0]
ADSL_Status:[Mode=-----States=HANDSHAKE UpSpeed=0 DownSpeed=0 SNR=0.0 Atten=0.0]

and on and on it goes...

Any ideas?

I'm just about to get another 2820 too with rackmount and antenna's but I'm wondering now whether to just go down the Netgear Prosafe route now with lifetime warranty etc, after all, I had another 2820 die in just a few weeks (granted that it was the PSU)...

have you tried flashing with .rst firmware and manually re-entering settings?

I had this issue with two 2820's I had on one site.
Ironically they stopped the same day the BT Paddington Exchange blew up. However, it wasn't till almost 8 hrs after the exchange went, that mine stopped sync'ing.

Contacted Draytek Support and they asked me to send them in for repair.
Got them back a few days later working.

Maybe the ADSL chip inside has suffered failure?
