Management control and VLAN was created by coderus
Hi,
Could it be possible for the Management control only be on a particular VLAN, the reason to ask is that while I have a SSID on a separate VLAN for visitors - I've recently noticed that they can still attempt requests to the router.

Can there be an option to say that the Management control is only available on a particular VLAN, as this would stop this - however if there was separate DHCP for VLANs this would help I believe, as I could then Address pool's.

Thanks
Mark.

I've happened to be talking to some Cisco network guys about their setups and they mentioned that their management setup's usually are setup normally on a separate VLAN (especially for Cisco h/w) in fact their training documentation is very clear on this.

So with this extra info - can this be added to the 2820 setup screen to choose the VLAN which it sits on ?
