Can anyone comment on the V120 modem connecting to the V2820 WAN 2 but through a wireless link:

ADSL/PPPoA--V120(fixed IP)--PPPoE--wireless in bridge mode>><<wireless in bridge mode----V2820Vn WAN2 (with DHCP on) connected to LAN via--- and <<>>

I need to bring the internet from a distant building to an existing LAN but only 0.5Mbps ADSL due to distance from exchange.

--- = wired ethernet
<<>> = wirleless

The wireless link should just act just like ethernet cable but will the v120 see it that way?

thanks

Hmmm...it should be possible with a pair of wireless devices (one at each end) bridging, as long as the one with the Vigor120 is an Ethernet router with PPPoE facility (e.g. Vigor2910). Not really a tried and tested intended method but I think it should work...

Are the buildings on same power? If so could you not use some homeplug adaptors?
