Vigor 120 and Time Capsule problems was created by grazza
Hi
I have connected my Vigor 120 directly to my macbook, and can access the internet via pppoe settings, so I know it is working!
However when I try to access via the pppoe settings on my Time capsule I cannot connect. It says it cannot connect to the pppoe server.
Does any one know, am I missing something obvious when setting up the pppoe connection Time Capsule??
Thanks

Have you got anything in the service name field? Apparently that shouldn't matter too much with the time capsule but its worth a go. Also maybe try setting the Vigor 120 back to factory defaults by pressing the little reset button on the side until the ACT light flashes quickly - with that setup you should be able to use it without any setting up of the 120, just make sure the DSL light goes solid.
