AP-700 connected to 2820 via LAN cable was created by bluelights
Hi

I did do a search on here but could not find anything to do with my issue.

Our main router is a 2820 which is working fine, we have an office downstairs, there is a lan cable running from the 2820 downstairs and plugged into an AP-700, the AP-700 then gives wireless access int he office downstairs etc,,,, it is working fine, but without any security!!! for the life of me i cannot figure out how to add WPA security to the AP-700.... so it just pops up as an unsecured network at the moment.......

Any idea's would be appreciated.

Regards
Nick

on left hand side in ap 700 web page, there is a tab Security
Click on this to get access to Encryption/wpa mode preshared key etc.
Easy.

I've got the same problem, same setup 2820 which is working fine with WPA2 and the AP700 linked via cable that has been set up with WPA2 (AES) security on the 'Security' tab.

All browsing clients report an unsecured network!?!??!
