Well, I have spent a week trying to get these two working together and at last they almost do but there is a problem. As a straight Universal AP on a LAN all works well. When going wireless and removing the LAN cable I can only get local access from the connected devices, no internet unless I disable all IP to MAC binding. In the small print when the AP-700 is in repeater mode it uses a MAC address 1 up from its base so I have created an IP address for that but as soon as I enable or strict bind I lose the internet i.e. WAN access, I can still see other devices on the network through the AP. Please can someone help me rectify this before I go insane.

Howard, many thanks for the link, I hve now a working system, you are a hero, again my thanks as this set up is not in any of the manuals but works like a dream!

Could either of you explain this further to me? I have experienced exactly the same repeating my wireless from a 2820n via a AP-700. I can access the internet via the AP-700, but I have to disable LAN IP to MAC binding.

Use WDS instead, that passes through the MAC addresses properly so Bind IP to MAC will still work.
