Vigor 2820n crashing was created by element059
Hi,
I've had the Vigor 2820 for a few months now and all was working fine but in the last 12 hours the router has been crashing every 30 - 40mins, particularly when I'm downloading at max speed.
When the router crashes all the lights on the front are green but the net goes down and I can't access the router control panel. The syslog shows no errors and simply stops recording. Other PC's within the house also lose internet access.
I've tried updating the firmware but still nothing.
The only way around it is to switch off and on the router. But that only gives me another 40mins of access before the thing goes down again.
I'm no expert but my guess is the routers hardware has malfunctioned and the unit needs replacing.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks

try re-flashing the firmware. It shouldn't happen but it's possible it somehow got corrupted.

I'd already updated the firmware. Will try to reset to firmware defaults and then reflash.
