Have a 2800G that has been operating as an wireless access point for a couple of months.

It has now ceased to be an access point and cannot be seen on the list of local networks.
Before installation it was upgraded to the latest firmware (2.8.2).

It will not respond to a factory reset.

The QoS and ACT lights are flashing in unison - about two a second and definitely slower than when doing a factory reset. The one port light in use is constant except when the QoS and ACT lights change their sequence and seem to be enquiring of the port in some way. Then the QoS and ACT go back to their regular 2 a second flash in unison.

I have just noticed that when the router is turned off by the switch a whistling sound / oscillation noise comes from the power supply. This noise stops as soon as the router is switched on.

All suggestions welcome.
