GRE IP Address was created by swizzuk
Hi All,

I just need to clafiy something.

Setting Up VPN trunking on two 3300v's.
One at each site.

I'm a little confused with the Local and Remote GRE IP address.
Is this any address on the same subnet that doesn't conflict with anything else.
Currently the two local subnets for each router is 192.168.20.0 and 192.168.21.0. Can i then just assign a GRE IP in say 192.168.30.0 range, so each router has 192.168.30.11 and the other 192.168.30.12

Am I almost there? This is new learning for me! :D

can get one in the policy table to connect, but not the other, and there is no reflection of the connection in the routing table?

users cannot connect to anything on the other subnet.

if SiteA's 3300 is ip 192.168.1.1 and SiteB's 3300 has an ip 192.168.2.1

what do i need to put in as the Local and Remote GRE IP?
