2x 2820n and 2x DSL was created by mac605
Current status:
2820n with BT DSL line, acting as router for small network (main router/DSL).

Changes:
I will get another DSL line and another 2820n for this line (backup router/DSL).

Target:
I have to set 2820n's that users should be able to transparently use both DSL connections.

Concept:
Setup 2nd 2820n as DSL modem only, passing traffic through to 1st 2820n, to route it on local network.

But according to manual it's only possible to passthrough traffic to LAN interfaces, not WAN2.

So should I connect WAN2 on 1st router to LAN port on 2nd router? Will it work?

Why buy another 2820 when it's already got two ports???

It will work, but why buy another full blown router when all you need is an ADSL modem?

It was not my decision, previous IT guy bought it, probably just to have a backup router in case of any problems with 1st one - kind of RAID-1 for routers ;)

Thanks for confirmation that it should work :)
