2820n cannot access a website was created by comspec
Hi,
Hope someone can help.
********************************
Customers Site
The setup is:
BT ADSL
Draytek Vigor 2820n
The router/firewall is still at default settings.
Netgear managed switch
Windows
I installed a desktop agent so I can monitor the desktop from a server in another location.
***********************************
My site
The server is NAT'd and as there is no static IP I run this through DYDNS with port forwarding to the server.
***********************************
I can access the url from other sites where there is no 2820n.
Is there a setting to change to allow in/out?
url is:
http://####.selfip.com:8080
##edited for security reasons.
Regards
Neil

If there are problems with accessing one specific site, that's usually down the MTU, to change that you'd need to access the router's telnet interface (type "telnet 192.168.1.1" either at command prompt or in Start>Run) and in there type "wan mtu 1390" (f/w 3.3.3) or "wan ppp_mss 1390" (earlier firmware). The router may need to be restarted for that change to take effect.

Hi,
Yes it is just the one website.
I'll give that a go.
Thanks
