Hi,

I have a Vigor2600 (with three wired pcs) plus a connected Buffalo G54 acting as a wifi bridge to other computers. All has been working well for 5 years but I now need to make a couple of changes to the Buffalo G54 unit - however, I can't find out what IP its admin is on!

I spoke with Buffalo Tech support and they say the Vigor2600 is assigning an IP in 'client' mode - can anyone advise me how to find out what this IP is?

Thanks.

look in the ARP cache under Diagnostic Tools and if the buffalo doesn't have a name entry then look up the MAC address against this list:

http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/?string=buffalo

Thanks.

There's only one listing there ... 192.168.1.10 and that's the IP assigned to my PC by the router. The Buffalo G54 is connected but not listed?
