Firmware from 3.2.0 to Firmware 3.3.3 was created by siege2
Hi All tried using the web page to upgrade the firmware using the following methed;
System Maintenance >> Firmware Upgrade
selected G:\v2820_v333_232201_A.rst then clicked on screen says firmware invalid, got the firmware from this webby in the UK, for the UK ISP.
anyone have idea what I'am missing , would be Gratefull for your help .
thanks Ken BTW is the usb htp option missing from menu as mine is?

ADSL Firmware Version : 211801_A Annex A

With that old firmware, you'll have to use Internet Explorer specifically to update the firmware - it's a large jump too so there's a risk the router won't boot after the update.
What I recommend is to take a backup of the config file and reflash using the .rst file (this will clear all the settings so you'll need that backup file) once it's restarted you can then either reconfigure it (best option) or reload the config file

Hi thanks for the reply , the main problem I'am having is the file itself, it pops up on screen saying "firmware invalid" etc so I cannot even get past that stage, i have backed up the cfg but need to do the first step first.

Hi All
used my netbook via AP then network Lan router to access ip then selected the firmware then clicked update then it worked ! was that a windows 7 problem with the file system.
BTW did the "The ALL file will just upgrade the firmware" does that upgrade the wireless firmware as well which is at version, 1.8.1.0.

yep, it includes the wireless firmware.
That error message that you got is the reason that you have to use IE to update but if its now updated then that's great.
