Setting up multiple vigorAP 700 using wireless and ethernet was created by simonkensington
Thanks in advance!
I am trying to expand a wireless network over a large distance and so am planning on using 3 vigorAP 700 units. The first 2 connected wirelessly as universal repeaters and the third will need to be connected by ethernet cable as the wireless signal doesn't extend that far.
In summary -
Main ADSL wireless router
AP 700 1 connected to router SSID as universal repeater - Working wireless internet connection.
AP 700 2 connected to AP 700 1 SSID as universal repeater - working wireless internet connection.
AP 700 3 connected to AP 700 2 using CAT5 cable - no working internet connection from AP 700 3 wireless.
I am not sure how I should set up AP 700 3 to connect to AP 700 2 via ethernet cable so that the resulting wireless AP provides internet access.
I guess I need to allocate each AP 700 a unique LAN IP address.
The LAN is using 10.0.0.0
Your advice is really appreciated, thanks

Hi Simon
have you tried a crossover cable between the #2 and #3 or just a standard cable.
not 100% sure if you can daisy chain the units as repeaters.
let me know how you get on.
