Is there an economical (£100 or so) but reliable method for connecting hard drives to router?
Have looked at PogoPlug but it doesn't support Time Machine on Mac.
Thanks for any suggestions.[/b]

I'm using Snow Leopard and have a 2710n.
It's my understanding that the USB port on the router only supports FAT32 devices. I can certainly access any of my USB flash drives (FAT32) but not my external hard drive, which is NTFS.
However, when I eject the USB drive server on my Mac, I get kernel panic and have to power down. I've only ever experienced this once before many years ago so something's not quite right on the hardware front.
