2820 Staic Route + Port Forwarding was created by limes102
Hiyah
I have setup a static route for the network 192.168.32.0/24 using 192.168.10.150 as the gateway.
I have force the router (by getting rid of the JavaScript and making the form submit anyway) to add a port forwarding for port 80 going to 192.168.32.10
How come the packets aren't being routed to the other network? Computers on the network 192.168.10.0 can access 192.168.32.0 and the other way around too...
Any help?
Thank you
Aaron

So your router (Draytek) is on 192.168.10.x subnet right? And the router connected to 192.168.32.x is 192.168.10.150 - same as Draytek...

Thanks for the reply
There's the Draytek, which is 192.168.10.254/24
Then there's a Cisco router which is is connected to the Draytek with the IP address 192.168.10.150/24, but it's other ethernet adapter is 192.168.32.254/24
I'm trying to route a port from an external IP on the draytek to a client on the 192.168.32.0 network
Thanks!

On the face of it that should work. If you use a Windows machine with same setup does that work ok? Or is there a rule on the Cisco stopping it coming back? Is it an 1841 or similar?

Hai
I can tracert to machines between subnets and all that... It's definitely not something wrong with the Cisco router (which is a 2621)
I think.... the draytek (rather rudely) ignores the static routes when forwarding ports.... I shall have to try and report it as a bug because it seems as though it's a simple thing to do!

Guess you've done firmwares etc? I know they won't route to subnets beyond thier own when on an IPsec tunnel - despite having a box for that purpose - so its possible that there is something odd going on.
What about a manual route in machines? Or using the Cisco as the g/w and then send requests back to the Draytek?
