Load balancing problems; is there a 'sticky' setting - 2950 was created by lostaylos
Apologies if this has been asked before, I have tried searching both Goggle and these forums and have not found the answer to this question.
We have two network connections at our office which are both connected to the 2950; load balancing in most scenarios seems to work fine.
However, if I'm using a secure site that monitors IP address I am forever being kicked out as my outgoing connection switches between different external IPs.
Is there a way to tell the 2950 to stick to one IP for a specific user's session.
Any help gratefully received and apologies again if this is a dumb questions.

You probably need to set TCP port 443 connections to work down either WAN1 or WAN2 rather than balance between the two...

Thanks you lozstlouis.
That does seem to work; out of curiosity is that a standard load-balance configuration or do most more expensive devices maintain an IP for a user's session?

ell I would expect it to maintain the connection on a per session basis. But these units are the "lower" end of the "big features" market so never quite sure if its by design or not.
