I have recently change from a Linksys Modem/Router due to drop out issues.
Since changing my upload speeds are 20 - 25% down. Is this typical of the 2820 or is there a setting I have overlooked...
Download speed was 0.85 -0.9Mbps now at 0.65 - 0.71Mbps
Upload speeds have remained constant at 14Mbps
I upload 00's of MB everyday to work server, so is a bit of an issue for me...

My 2820Vn syncs approx 300-400kbit/sec lower than my o2-supplied (thomson) router (current down sync is 18448174, up is 1293133). I think it's generally acknowledged that the draytek routers can sync fractionally lower than others, but 20-25% sounds rather excessive.
Have the drop-out issues been resolved? Maybe you have to accept a trade-off of lower speed for a more reliable connection.

Thanks for reply.
Dropouts are sorted, been running without loss of connection since I turned it on, which is superb.
However, the reduced upload speed is a concern due to the amount of data I need to upload each day.
My ISP are unhelpful and insist I use their Thompson modem if I require any form of support.
I guess it's a case of try it and see for a while.

Do I detect your cannection is Annex M enhanced upload? You may be better manually specifying, as Multimode doesn't always guess correctly on Enhanced Upload lines (from my expecience).

Again, thanks for reply.
I have tried all the available options with regards to the Annex M suggestion, no joy.
Spoke to ISP who have reset my line...!!! This seems to have made a difference, although will keep an eye on it, we'll see.
