There might be other reasons; e.g. lack of memory or processing power in older designs. I made a detailed post with links in this thread on Sun May 08, 2011 10:11 am which still seems to hold. At that time D-Link and Apple were said by people who'd made detailed tests to be the only routers with relatively functional and bug-free IPv6 support. HTH

There might be other reasons for the lack of the feature being implemented, but what I'm really referring to is the lack of any information, despite previous promises to communicate with customers which models would have support added in future revisions of their firmware. This is what suggests to me that they don't care what their customers think.

Looks as though the 2820 is discontinued. The 2850 has just had a firmware upgrade for IPv6 - nothing on the UK website of course though - the main site even has a dedicated summary page: http://draytek.com/.upload/file/PDF/Vigor2850%20IPv6%20highlights_Version%203_6_0.pdf
