Hi, I have exactly the same problem as you. I just can't find anything on the web which explains, simply, how to connect to the USB memory stick using a Vigor 2710VN and Windows 7. Did you ever find a solution?

Redirect or open WAN ports to the USB server ports on the routers LAN IP, similar as you would for any other LAN Server when wanting to make it outward facing.

Is this to access a drive connected to the 2710's USB port?
If so, you need to enable the FTP Server for remote management under the System Maintenance - Management page. Once that's enabled, you can then connect to the router's IP address using an FTP application using a username from the USB user list and copy / upload files that way.
