2920 Dual WAN Performance Issues was created by dacre
I use a 2920 Dual WAN Security Router.
Coming into the WAN ports I have two ADSL lines, one from BT and another from BE.
WAN1: BT
WAN2: BE
The router firmware is 3.3.3.1
It is being used within a Internet Gaming Café. The main problem we are encountering is extreme ping issues.
These ping issues only occur when both WAN ports are connected. But when one is disconnected (doesn't matter which one) normal connectivity is restored.
Any ideas?

Figured it out. Now got a new problem.
Router falls over and shits the bed when refreshing game server lists due to the amount of UDP sessions that are created (one per server). This kicks everybody off the network.
Updated the firmware and problem still persists. Any ideas on how to fix this other than investing in new equipment?

Done some more testing. It's definitely the number of UDP streams that is causing the problems.
Particular server browser creates over 14000 unique UDP streams. Router cannot handle it.
Time to spend money I think
