2820Vn Setup Query was created by cssmrsmith
Hi I have two 2820Vn's, one is at work and the other at home. I have an IP Phone from work that I would like to use at home if I'm not there. The work network has been set up to use IP address range of 192.168.1.x and subnet mask 255.255.255.0. The work PBX is on a fixed IP of 192.168.1.75.

The home network has been set up to use IP address range of 192.168.2.x and subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. The phone is directly plugged into the router and has an IP address of 192.168.1.100. I have created a VPN tunnel that is permenantly connected and thought that the phone would simply connect through the tunnel to work but it doesnt. If I plug the phone into the network at work it connects into the PBX straight away so I know it works. So have I got something set incorrectly on the VPN tunnel or is it something else? Could anyone please advise me as to what I am doing wrong.
