Dear all,
I am tweaking my network (Draytek 2820 router used) which uses mainly email, internet and VoIP services. At current I have VoIP set-up as priority under QoS to ensure that this service is not starved of resource.
The question I want to answer is whether I should also use QoS in conjunction with Bandwidth/Session limiting to ensure that, for example, another PC doing a download will not take all the resources and affect VoIP.
Will QoS be enough to prevent this kind of issue and enable VoIP to work properly or should I also bandwidth limit other connections to the Internet?
I don't want to turn too much on the router if not needed....
Brad
Kind regards,
Bradley Porter
