2820n remote management was created by drewbie
Hi,

I recently picked up a new 2820n and have put on 3.3.5.1 firmware. I now get the new logon prompt. On the local LAN management is fine, but from the internet it shows me the login form and after i put in my correct username and password and it just redisplays the logon prompt (incorrect username and password generates incorrect details). I have enabled management from the Internet and only allowed HTTPS. Is there something else that i need to allow?

Cheers
Drew

what's in the
Access List
List IP

section ?

assuming they're all blank there should be no restriction.

I also have a feeling I've read something about maybe trying with Internet Explorer (if by default you normally prefer to use one of the better browsers)

Hi,

The access list section is all blank. Even if i put a ip in it still just resets the logon prompt...Just tried IE6 worked fine lol. Firefox 4, Chrome and IE8 don't work Grrrr. Sorry didn't think of actually going back to IE6...rather annoying :(. maybe it will be fixed in next firmware

Thanks for the pointed to IE thought :)

Theres no excuse for this not working in newer browsers! We all know how old and buggy IE6 is...
