Vigor2710 HD Connection Problem was created by armaron
I recently bought a 1TB external USB hard disk and I want to connect it to my Vigor2710 router. When I connect it, the web interface says that there is no drive attached. The hd is working properly when connected to my PC. When I connect this hd or my other 500GB USB hd, they don't show up in the web interface. Both have a separate power supply, so that isn't the issue. I know the USB port works fine, it recognizes my 1GB USB stick.
Does anybody know why my hd's aren't recognized? Does anybody have a solution for this?
Thanks in advance!

How has the drive been formatted? I don't use my 2710 for network attached storage - but I seem to remember that the router only supports FAT32 (I think .. I'm too lazy to check at the moment).

And I formatted into NTFS, like I usually do. Is there really no support for NTFS? And where can I find a list of supported formats?
