I have a Vigor 2600x connected to a SBS 2003 server with DHCP controlled by the Vigor. The static IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.206. I have 5 other IPs allocated by my ISP and I want to route xxx.xxx.xxx.204 via the 2600x to a new Vigor I have 2820n which is connected to my new SBS 2008 server, but this server is controlling DHCP, not the Vigor.

I have switched on IP routing on the 2600x so the second IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.206 and the subnet is 255.255.255.248.

Any ideas what I try next?

Cheers for any help on this one as I am proper stuck.

Plug the 2820's WAN2 port into the 2600's network, then on the 2820, set up the WAN2 connection as a static IP, give it the 204 address, use that subnet mask and use .206 as the gateway and DNS server address. That should work I think.
