I've got exactly the same problem with my 2710vn. Although it had been rock solid for the 10 months I've owned it during the last month or so I've had drop-outs when streaming internet radio, iPlayer, YouTube etc. I've tried firmware, running straight from the NTE5 socket, my speed shows-up as 2.5Mb downsteam but still no good. I get some weird ping results when pinging my ISP gateway 29ms/30ms then bang it'll drop-out to 350ms+ and then time-out. I've resorted to putting my scabby old Netgear back into service and that has worked like a charm.

I'll look at the DoS/Firewall settings when I get home and post back.

cheers, w7r

Okay, I also heard back from Draytek support who recommend not to use 3.3.6 of the firmware as there is a known bug. The sent me a 3.3.6rc and this seems to have sorted the problem. One thing I did notice is that by default all of the firewall/DoS options appear to be off - so maybe they've twigged there's an issue here. I'm going to enable the DoS stuff this evening and see if it starts to play-up again.

cheers, w7r

Enabled the DoS option last night and all working sweetly. So 3.3.6-RC3 has definately fixed it for me.

Hi

I have recently installed the 2710n and upgraded to the 3.3.6_232201 version of firmware with no apparent problems....should I move to 3.3.6....?
