For a while, I've been wondering why I cannot loop-back through NAT through my WAN IP Aliases, so I decided to look through the release notes

Version 3.3.2.1:
NAT Loopback (Locally accessing another local machine via an external IP and port redirection)
does not work for WAN IP Alias addresses

Why hasn't this been fixed yet? Or am I doing something wrong?

It has been broken for months. I have reported it time after time and even the new 3.3.5.2_RC3a beta they sent me to try and resolve it still dont work.

This has to be a hardware malfunction as they have known and tried to fix it ever since the 2820 came into existence.. I seriously doubt this will ever get fixed (hardware probably prevents it)

Nope, it is software. Roll-back to 3.3.3 and put up with the lack of additional functionality, is the best I can suggest.

I really wish they would sort them selves out - I've had so many issues with DrayTek recently.

I have the same problem after upgrading to 3.3.4.1_232201. I seem to remember having it before and rolling back to a previous firmware fixed it.

I can't access any internal sites using their external ip

I tried the 3.3.5.2_RC3 version and got it to work on the router's base external address only However, I did not work on any other other addresses of the sub net I have ( 8 IPs ). I have emailed seg support. Went back to 3.3.3 and all works.
