Bandwith limiting was created by ia76
Hi

For testing purposes I have set my laptop to be assigned the IP 192.168.1.105

In bandwith limiting I have set the tx and rx speed of this IP to 256.

The problem is that this pc is still using the default bandwith settings instead of the specified one.

What am I doing wrong?

Check on the Diagnostics - Data flow monitor to see the throttling it's using at the moment, it could be that the IP hasn't updated yet to the correct one?

Not sure what equip you using, but usually there is a problem using a singular ip to do this, at least that is my experience with 27/28/29 series and 3300's

I would in your case set the beginning IP at 97 and the end at 112 and try again, (or use an even bigger block like 64-128)

test again and it will work

I have a 2820n and using a range of IP's has worked.
