DHCP next-server value was created by kayjaywt
It would be great to be able to modify the next-server value in the DHCP server configuration to allow flexibility with PXE clients, effectively handing them off to a 3rd party TFTP server for OS install/boot/etc.
Is this something that is being considered ?
If this isnt possible, the implementation of a small tftp server on the router would be a suitable alternative to allow the initial bootstrap to take place from the router itself.

Isn't that DHCP option 66? aka the TFTP value in the DHCP settings? If so, that's already there on I think all the current models but only through telnet, the command is "srv dhcp tftp <server ip/hostname>"

Ah, Thanks for this.
Unfortunately it doesnt seem to support option 67 (Boot filename). Which is now the show stopper
Any workarounds welcome !
Draytek: If you are listening, this would be a great addition.

Anyone know what this means in the 3.3.5.2 release notes here: http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/download/readme_v2820.txt
17. Improved: Add user defined DHCP option for telnet command.
Maybe a work around there ?
I am not running this firmware, and am hesitant to upgrade at the moment, but would really like to see if this addresses the issue.
I also noticed the telnet reference is out of date, so dont expect any info in there - Telnet Command Reference V.1.11 (Updated Feb 2009)
