Draytek Passwords was created by cabot
Hi All
i have recently found that the passwords listed in the instructions on various Draytek routers do not match the actual passwords needed to login to a new router or AP example of 2820N book says user id admin leave password blank actual user id admin password admin, but the main reason for this post is i have installed a VigorAP 700 and cannot logon to it as the user id & Password does not work so has anyone got any suggestions for logon? i have used
admin, admin
admin, password
admin, blank password
admin, draytek
so if anyone has a suggestion or resolution please let me know
cheers
Shaun

Most other brands do use a standard password scheme but not draytek..
E.g with the 2820 different versions of firmware have different defaults and with the ap700 there is the v1 and v2 hardware, both different passwords.. how do simple things like this get through their internal testing and quality control?
