2710n DHCP failing for wifi was created by juleswilko
I've got a small niggle with my otherwise flawless 2710n in that DHCP keeps failing on it...
Unfortunately I can only tell when something has disconnected from wifi and then come back, LAN connected devices appear unaffected even when an ipconfig /renew is done.
At first I thought it was just a wifi compatability thing, so created two SSIDs, one being B/G and the other N -
WPA and WPA2 encryptions...
Made sure there was plenty left on the DHCP scope (200 clients)
But the problem occurs on both networks...
Every week or two, it all falls over and needs a reboot of the router...
Latest firmware...
And not a major niggle... Just a niggle.
Anyone else seen anything like this?
Regards

I think we may have seen this on a 2820 (3.3.4.1) where it seems to manifest as sending packets out but return packets seem to go astray. That said we do not use the in-built DHCP except as a fallback.
The problem proved elusive and went away. It mostly affected a samsung netbook and we suspected the wifi chipset used.

We too have seen this on 3 x 2820's and have been unable to find a fix - its got to be a firmware issue
