Vigor 3200 Failover configuration was created by davewright
Hi All,
New to Drayteks, but struggling with getting failover configuration working, am I right in saying that I need one of the WAN connections connected as Backup, and then it would automatically use that connection should another fail ? The current configurations is
WAN1 - Active - Remote desktop/mail to phones
WAN2 - Active - MySQL replication, FTP
WAN3 - Active - Website
So all 3 lines I want active as they each point traffic to a different server but I was hoping that if for example WAN1 failed it wouldn't drop internet traffic for all machines in the company, but would use WAN2. Currently is WAN1 goes down, all computers lose internet connection, but I assume if I change one to Backup it wouldn't be connected and route traffic to it's respective server, so for example if I set WAN3 to Backup, people wouldn't be able to see our website ?
