Web App needs access through Draytek 2820vn to 192.168.1.200 was created by kez
Hi,
I have a web app setting out on the internet.
this web app needs to be able to speak (both directions) with a server located at 192.168.1.200 that is behind the 2820vn so that it can grab data from it.
Can anyone advise how this can be done.
kind regards
kez

Have you tried to use the NAT Port Forwarding function? Is it access required on a specific port on the server, or can you set up a specific port for the query? If so, you can set the router up to point requests to your public ip address to that port to the private ip address and port inside your network. Outbound should not cause an issue.
I have a web server on the inside of my network and have set the key ports up via this function. Works a treat.
