Vigor 2950 Disconnections Log was created by richardmccaig
Hi, all.
Does anyone know if there is a log anywhere that records ADSL connections and disconnections?
Our ADSL connection is dropping fairly frequently. Our ISP (Zen) are happy to provide logs (and have done so) but it would be nice to have them in-house and readily available.
Thoughts?
Thanks..

The 2950 doesn't handle the ADSL connection itself, its an ethernet based router so the ADSL must be provided by another device.
However, you should be able to use syslog to get a good idea of what is happening on the router when the connection drops.
