Up times Out of sync was created by ukzone99
Hi Guys...
I am using a Vigor 2800G modem router.
The System UP TIME and the WAN UP TIME are not in sync.
The System UP TIME is currently 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of the WAN UP TIME. The difference gets wider by the hour.
I have monitored this since the router was rebooted and the difference is not due to the WAN dropping the line.
Has anybody got any ideas why this would happen and is there anything can do to keep them both in sync.
Thanks,

I see this on all draytek kit, the 2820, the 2950, 2955 and so on. Perhaps it is built in to the DrayOS ?

Hi nealuk...
Many thanks for your reply.
It is comforting that it isn't a problem.

It's a 2800 so the WAN could actually be dropping - try putting the 2.8.2.1 beta firmware on it which you can get from the Draytek UK site and see if that improves.

Hi voodle...
Many thanks for your suggestion.
I have downloaded the upgrade and upgraded the router.
Time will tell if that is a solution.
Probably about 24 hours.

Hi Guys...
I have now tested the upgrade to 2.8.2.1 beta firmware.
After 36 hours. the WAN time is lagging the System Uptime by 25 minutes.
I suppose that I will just have to put up with it.
Anyway, thanks for your suggestions.
