2820n Settings for Broadband Streamline use was created by mexicolan
Hi, can someone help me out. I need to find out the following but am not sure where to look:-
Internet access for outbound traffic enabled - neither IPSec connections nor a virtual private network (VPN) will work with our Broadband card payment terminals
DHCP enabled
MAC filtering disabled
I need these to be correct before i install some new card payment terminals that run through my broadband.
any help would be greatly appreciated

No warranty here! But, assuming the Chip'n'Pin terminals are on site, with the modem/router, and the traffic goes out on the local internet connection and therefore, not first down a VPN, say, to head office, before then going out on to the internet then I'd say it's happy days
DHCP enabled - yes this is easily turned on and off on the Draytek Vigors (as well as many other manufacturers equipment)
MAC filtering disabled - yes, on most equipment this feature is disabled by default, or not present - it is "off" as standard on the Draytek Vigor Kit
Regards,
Neal
