URL Content Filtering was created by gmckay
Dear All,
I'm working with a Dreytek Vigor 2820N and cannot for the life of me get the URL content Filtering to work.
Model Name : Vigor2820n
Firmware Version : 3.3.4.1_232201
Build Date/Time : Sep 8 2010 15:39:30
ADSL Firmware Version : 232201_A Hardware: Annex A
Quite Simple all I want to do is block facebook and even followed the youtube tutorial.
Heres the setup:
Created keyword objects: Facebook, apps.facebook
Created keyword group: facebook added the keyword objects above
CSM >> URL Content Filter Profile
Enable URL Access control - BLOCK - added keyword objects and group
Firewall >> General Setup - 1Facebook
Pretty much the same setup as the youtube vid.
I've tested on a couple of clients that use the Dreytek for DHCP and they can get onto this site no problem.
I've even tryed using a syslog server and can see the requests going out towww.facebook.com so I can see the Dreytek allowing this.
Any ideas. I have Dreytek 2820 v3.2.1 at another site and this works no problem.
Other than the firmware the only difference I can see between two is that the web filter on the one I'm having problems with is not activated. However, I'm not fussed about this as its only the URL content filer I want to use.
Help!

Dear All
After fiddling around quite allot this is now working.
Not sure what I did to resolve this but reset to defaults and followed tutorial again and its working!
Happy days!

(Except for the users that can't access facebook anymore!)
