Ah, that's annoying. Apparently the "ipsec tunnel to 2800" problem is not fully gone.

I had to restart the other 2820 (3.3.4) & the 2800 today and when they came back the VPN link from the 2820 (beta_0414) started going up and down like a yoyo again. 7 seconds up then reconnect. The 2820<>2820 VPN remained stable, and strangely the 2800 thought the link was up all the time.

A reboot (of the 2820 with beta_0414) did fix it.

So not a stable as I originally thought. Hmmmm.....!

FWIW, I have just tried to use the latest 3.3.7 beta from here:

ftp://ftp.draytek.pl/Seria_2820/Firmware/beta/

and the SNMP logging broken in the 3.3.7 release remains broken. I'm back on 3.3.5.2.

Upgrading from 3.3.5.2 to 3.3.7 (*.rst, but uploading an old config file rather than a manual rebuild) breaks the SNMP logging that PRTG relies on.

The SNMP settings in the 2820n web GUI (system maintenance -> management tab) were unchanged; no extra settings or any changes apparent between the firmware upgrades.

Anyone else had a similar issue? PRTG works (i.e. logs throughput) again instantly if I pull back to 3.3.5.2

Have now gone back to 3.3.5.2 since I can no longer get a stable ipsec tunnel frem 3.3.7 or beta_0414 to a 2800 router.

and now there's a version 3.3.7.1 on Draytek's FTP site and comments in the Australian forum above. Seems to solve some, but not all, problems. Haven't tried it.

I use MRTG to monitor the bandwidth utilisation on my 2820vn with SNMP and since upgrading my firware to 3.3.7 it is now broken. I contacted support and they said that the values reported my SNMP in the new firware are dividing the values by 100. So I set my MRTG config file to multiply the values by 100 but it still didn't help and the values looked weird. I would be downloading a file using 8 megabits of bandwidth and MRTG would report it as 100 kilobytes per second.

Their sugguestion was for me to downgrade to 3.3.5.2 and since I have done that it has solved my problem.

I have always been REALLY happy with my Draytek router but this firmware release is disappointing.

I too use MRTG for monitoring Traffic. I have it set up to monitor my router and then each server that i have connected. When i was testing MRTG reports my server as downloading at 440Kbps which is accurate however the SNMP output for my router for the same period was 9.6 Kbps.

Can anyone advise where i might download the old firmware from? (I no longer have it on here as i recently suffered a disk failure...Preferrably for modem code 232201

Many thanks
