More that one XBOX ? was created by biffa72
Hello All,
I'm looking at buying one of these routers and need to know if I can connect more than one Xbox to the router.
We currently have 3 xboxes in our household and I have had issues with netgear routers connecting more than one console, basically one will work fine but the others will report a Strict NAT.
If DrayTek support can answer this question successfully, I'm buying one!!
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I use a 2820n and my XBoX and PS3 both work together fine at the same time, with the XBoX the 2820n shows as Open NAT which is what you want.
Regards John

I have a 2830n with two Xboxes simultaneously connected to XBL with Open NAT.
They both use wireless, WPA2 and DHCP. No specific ports have been opened, just uPNP enabled with both the connection status and connection control features enabled.
HTH.

Which firmware do you guys have this working on with the 2830n? I've always been under the impression that multiple Xboxen didn't work with UPnP and open NAT without fiddling around with extra public IPs?
