Vigor 2820n WAN2 PPPoE Digital Redion VDSL was created by pgudge
Hi,
I recently had FTTC/DigitalRegion installed and using the ISP supplied TPLink router and Thales VDSL Modem everything is peachy.
When I enter my ISP Username/Password in to the WAN2 part of the Draytek under PPPoE, and connect the WAN2 port to the Thales modem, nothing happens. The Draytek just shows the following line over and over again.
WAN2 PPPoE ==> V:1 T:1 PADT ID:0
My 2nd ADSL Line is connected to the DSL port and is connected fine.
I also connected my laptop directly to LAN1 on the Thales VDSL modem and PPPoE connection via Windows 7 worked the first time perfectly.
Does it sound like a faulty 2820n or could I be missing something?
Thanks.

Check what you've got set as the WAN connection name under WAN - General Setup, with PPPoE that gets used as a PPPoE service name which your ISP/FTTC modem may not like since mostly the service name should be left blank
