2830 No Nat Configuration was created by daveg2011
Hi all,
we have just started using the 2830 in place of the old 2820 routers and I can't see how to configure it for No Nat (Public IP subnet) use. On the 2820 you just used to configure the second LAN interface on the LAN General Setup screen (as per the info on Drayteks FAQs) and that worked fine. But there isnt a second LAN interface on the setup page dor the new 2830. Anyone run into this problem and managed to sort it, any pointers would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave

That's set up under LAN - General Setup - IP Routed Subnet > Details Page. From there it's just the same as the 2820 though.
The 2830 is kinda cool in that you can do IP routing to VLANs as well, if you enable LAN2 and set it to routed mode then that's IP routing as well That gives you a lot more DHCP functionality and setup flexibility.

Thanks for that info, I'm working away at the moment but will have another look at the 2830 when I get back.

Did you get this working ?
I have just bought a 2830 and have been driven nuts by exactly the same problem -
I had half guessed the solution but I cannot test it other than at the customers site and I cannot wait until installation day to see wether or not I was right !
I have been looking on and off for the past week and this is the first mention of the problem I can find.
Very very poor support by Draytek on this one ( yes I did RTFM and check the FAQs and forums and emailed Drayatek support).
Can you confirm if this solution actually worked as expected.
Thanks
