Hello Everyone,

I am awaiting some tech support on this and I have trawled through the Forum to no avail.

In the hope that someone here has a similar setup and can help, here goes...

We have setup a WDS (bridge) link between our main building and one of our outer buildings/offices. This has been working fine for 5 months but we wanted to make the connection more reliable and secure :lol: using 2 ANT 2510 antennae's (1 at either end) . We have been unable to establish a connection with these, they are connected to the outer Transmit/Receive connectors on each router.

Since trying this and reverting back to the standard aerials the link cannot be re-established. The settings have gone untouched and the routers are in the same place with the aerials put back in the same direction.

Has anyone had problems with these Antennae's? I wonder if there is a fault with one of the routers here casuing the 2510s not to work and developed further stopping WDS to work at all.

The Setup:

1. The distance is no more than 3 metres.
2. A Vigor 2710n installed at each end
3. An ANT-2510 Unidirectional antenna installed at each end.
4. 2710n in main site is connected to our network and assigned a free static IP
5. 2710n in outer building is also assigned a free static IP.
