Vigor2955 Syslog ADSL Status Greyed out was created by varkanoid
Hello
I am using a Vigor2955 with a Zyxel modem and a Negtear modem.
When I look at the syslog application the ADSL Status is greyed out and not receiving information. How do I correct this ?

It'll only show ADSL status for routers with internal ADSL modems like the 2820, the 2955 being ethernet, can't check ADSL status so you just have to use the other WAN status details

The Draytek Syslog application is to be used accross the product range, and the ADSL section would only be populated if the unit was a Draytek Vigor 2820 or similar, where there is an in-built ADSL modem.
As you are using an external ADSL modem, you won't see any stats in the Draytek Syslog program.
If you havent already done so, for best results put the Netgear in Bridge mode, and let the 2955 look after the adsl login.
You can see the status of each connection (up or down) on the 2955 status, so you're not really missing that much from not being able to see the adsl connection speed. It is usually going to stay exactly the same, and if a fault develops, and the internet slows to a crawl, you'd know to look and check the stats directly on your Zyxel or Netgear units.
Regards,
Neal.
