as the title suggests can it be done

we have one which is working and have a second BT infinity line coming - could the 2830N handle two lines seeing that both are coming as ethernet - is there a work around

NO!

It only has 1 Ethernet WAN Port you would need Vigor 2850 or Vigor 2920
