Thanks for the information. I remember when I first got my 2820 it was a pile of rubbish, constant rebooting. But after a firmware update or 2 it became stable and served me well for many years.
I have recently ordered the 2850 and hope to receive it next month (awaiting stock) first thing to do is check for any updates and hope most the issues are resolved, no doubt I will be back on the forum if there are problems

I'd be grateful in knowing that if you receive it, where you bought it from and how long it took to arrive.
I've had an awful time trying to get the 2850Vn
Thanks!

Just set up our 2850n with infinity. Got rid of both other boxes. Upload speed 37 and download speed 8 on average, so quite pleased with that.

From What I understand so far I can upgrade to the 2850 and do away with bothroy.p wrote:
the BT boxes (horrible home hub & box on wall) or I could keep the box on the wall and connect my existing 2820 Think I will wait a month or 2 to see what the feedback for the 2850 is then upgrade

I wasn't aware there were stock problems. We ordered ours from Dabs. Although we knew it was not in stock at the time it arrived within 4 days of ordering. That was last week.
