2850 SNMP issues was created by cbsys
Hi,
We have installed a number of 2850 routers but have come across a problem with SNMP
We have several 100's of routers, 2800, 2820, 2830 on customers sites, all sending back SNMP donwload data to our servers.
However, the 2850 models dont seem to work the same - we configured the snmp agent exactly as the earlier modules in the managment page, but we dont seem to get uptime and download data stats sent back!
We DO get inferface information back though, just not data throughput information on those interfaces!
Anyone have any ideas??

Further information to this issue-
On a draytek 2820 or a draytek 2830, I can use the snmpwalk command from a linux server- e.g. snmpwalk -v1 -c public xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
I get a list of mibs returned as expected
On a draytek 2850, I get nothing when I try snmpwalk, it just times out
The same happens if I try snmpwalk -v2c

I'd raise that with DrayTek support.

I have a pending ticket for broken if counters on the 2820 as well - that was introduced after the last firmware upgrade so you might want to see if its fw specific for you as well.
Might also be works seeing if there is an SNMP v3 option in the newer routers and try that
