2830N with a BT Infinity or talktalk Fibre connection was created by trick97
Is it possilbe to setup this router to be used with the Openreach fibre modem?
I have done a search and seen a few examples of where people asked questions abuot O2 and Sky, but I am having trouble on where I would even start setting up the 2830N to be used with fibre.
Originally i was on ADSL, so straight forward setting up the router instead of the supplied one from talk talk. However I have now moved over to fibre and so currently using the supplied router from talk talk, but I have lost one ethernet port as the fibre modem fits into 1 of 4 on the talktalk router. Ideally wanted to get my 2830N working via WAN2(i understand this is where the openreach plugs into) so i get the 4 ports back, but not sure what to do about setting up the internet connection from there....within the draytek menu.
Anyone provide me with an idiots guide please?

Anyone advise on this please?
I bought the 2830N as at the time I had an ADSL connection and wanted a system that would be future proof once my fibre connection came along. The latter happened 8 months sooner than I expected, so now I cant get the 2830N to work.
So need to know if i should sell the 2830N and buy the 2850N.
pLEASE HELP!
