Vigor 2830 NAT settings was created by meaderm
Hi
I am trying to configure my Vigor 2830 for the following scenario:
1) Set the LAN IP to 192.168.187.0/24, subnet 255.255.255.0
2) Set the WAN1 to be Public IP 74.x.x.25, subnet 255.255.255.248
3) Use the next usuable Public IP 74.x.x.26, subnet 255.255.255.248 to NAT to the Call Server 192.168.187.200
I have managed to do this successfully before using Cisco routers but never used Draytek equipment before.
1, and 2 are very simple to do but 3 is causing me real trouble.
I have tried NAT setting such ass address mapping and static routes under Lan setting but nothing seems to achive what i want
Anyone who could advise how i can get my next usuable IP address to forward straight to the call server would be a real life saver
thanks in advance

You need to use WAN IP Alias to add that IP which is under the WAN - Internet Access - WAN1 details page as a button on there. You can add that IP (leave join NAT IP Pool unticked) which will make it available for port forwarding.
What you could then do is forward access to that IP to the internal IP by using NAT - DMZ Host if you want to forward all ports, or Open Ports to open specific ones for it.

Hi Voodle
Thanks for the advice
I tried the DMZ method as i need all ports forwarded to the local Call Server. I set the additional alias in WAN1 internet settings too and made sure Join NAT pool was unticked
When i type in the public IP it is still going to the Vigor Login screen
Any ideas?
Many thanks

It will do that if you've got remote management enabled, you can either disable remote management or on the system maintenance - management page, change the management ports to ones that won't conflict with your server's ports.
