Vigor 2800G reset problem

Vigor 2800G reset problem was created by proviz1
This router was originally set up by someone who is no longer around so, when we needed the SSID, we had to reset to factory defaults.

Have opened browser and typed in 192.168.1.1 as shown on default instructions but nothing happens. Now have no internet or LAN connections.

Please help!
Small office. Server running Microsoft Small Business 2003; Two PCs running Windows 7 Professional, one PC running Windows XP Professional.

First step I'd say is to try 192.168.1.1:8080 assuming that the default gateway is 192.168.1.1
